Kelly A. Riordan joined the Law Offices of Miriam G. Altman, PC, as an associate in 2006. Her practice includes all aspects of family law litigation including divorce, custody, child support, contempt, pre-nuptial agreeements, and modification matters. Ms. Riordan manages all facets of divorce, modification and contempt case development, including drafting complaints, motions, briefs, and memoranda, conducting necessary research, presenting oral arguments at court hearings, drafting and negotiating agreements.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Riordan earned her Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law, where she received the New England School of Law Merit Scholarship. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Riordan received her BA degree, magna cum laude, from Providence College. While at Providence, Ms. Riordan served as an intern for Associate Justice Haiganush Bedrosian at the Rhode Island Family Court in Providence, Rhode Island.
Attorney Riordan is the co-author of, “Department of Children and Families Reports in Divorce, Modification, and Paternity Custody Case Trials,” Massachusetts Family Law Journal, Volume 27, Issue No. 5, September, 2009.
Ms. Riordan has been admitted to practice law in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Family Law Section and the Women’s Bar Association.
